• Full care plan
• Maintenance plan
• A plan for forces families

What’s included in the plans?

All the plans include the following:

• Two annual examinations including oral cancer screening
• Any x-rays required as part of the examination or ongoing care process
• Two hygiene appointments per year for: scale and polish, periodontal advice and the use of preventative techniques to reduce decay and gum disease.
• Assessment of emergencies and dental pain with any temporary treatment required, carried out at the practice during normal surgery hours.
• All treatment planning for your future dental needs
• Advise on a programme of preventative care

The Forces Families plan is the same as the maintenance plan with the exception that you will sign a contract with a FFDP dentist and is currently only available in Scotland.

The Full Plan covers all of the Maintenance Plan costs and additionally covers treatments such as fillings, root fillings, crowns, although any work carried out in a laboratory will cost extra.
