Has anybody here tried Invisalign? I've been thinking about trying Invisalign out to straighten my teeth, but I have heard stories about it being quite painful. Does anybody have personal experiences with it?
I haven't tried them but am very impressed with how they look. I had traditional train tracks and I can tell you that they hurt like crazy and unlike Invisalign they cannot be removed. Any time the teeth are being forcibly moved it's going to hurt, so don't let that put you off this particular method. It's way more convenient than regular tightenings.
My sister is actually trying to decide between "train tracks" and Invisalign right now. According to what she says, Invisalign isn't supposed to be quite so painful, and they are way more convenient. Her main concern is that Invisalign is much more expensive to her than "train tracks".
I have never used it but a friend of mine has and she said the pain isn't as bad as people think. I think invisalign would be better because some people tend to be cruel and tease people who have "train track" braces.
