Aua Dental Accident Insurance

Features

Gives you the option to insure prosthetic and natural teeth. Emergency treatment is available from a dentist other than your usual dentist if it is appropriate due to your location during the emergency.

AXA PPP Health Care Dental Insurance

Plans start at £7.95
Features

Covers a wide range of costs including mouth cancer, hospital stay pay and emergency cover, with a choice of two plans.

Boots Dental Insurance

Plans start at £9
Features

Boots offer three levels of dental insurance. One that covers NHS bills, two that cover private dental costs.

Dencap Dental Insurance

Plans start at £11 plus a £10 or £20 registration fee
Features

Features include cover for two check-ups a year and the Platinum plan offers overseas cover, next day treatment of emergencies and two hygienists per year.

Dencover Dental Insurance

Plans start at £15.99
Features

Dencover insurance covers two check-ups and two hygienists per year as well as up to £500 emergency cover in the UK and worldwide. You can choose to cover your whole family at extra cost.

DenPlan Dental Insurance

Plans start at around £10 per month, depending on your current oral health level
Features

Receive worldwide emergency treatment up to £10,000 per incident. Receive up to £60 for every night spent in hospital.

HSA Dental Insurance

Plans start at £7.35
Features

100% cover on check-ups, hygienist and X-rays. 3 levels of cover available. Add children for as little as £1.

indepenDent Dental Insurance

For prices you will need to be examined by an indepenDent dentist
Features

Plans cover two examinations, two hygienists and any X-Rays required per year. They also offer a plan for forces families, currently only available in Scotland.

Tesco Dental Insurance

Plans start at £8.95
Features

Two levels of cover, one for NHS care and one for private care. Simple and logical structure covering a good range of costs.

Universal Provident

Plans start at £5.95
Features

Covers you to a limit of £5000 for emergency treatment and £1000 for non-emergency treatment but does not cover routine dentistry such as check-ups.

WPA (Western Provident Association)

Plans start from £1.02 for children under four and £3.39 for people four years of age and older.
